CRANSTON, R.I. -- Two of a dozen units at the Pocasset Apartments at 947 Dyer Ave. were damaged by a fire that began on the building's 3rd floor around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Deputy Fire Chief Herb Bassett said no one was in the building at the time, but a man living in one of the 3rd floor units, and a couple living on the 2nd floor, whose apartment was damaged by water, were displaced.
