A year ago today:
Roldy Francois, 27, of Providence, who barricaded himself in an attic in 2010 when officials arrived to arrest him on gun and identity-theft charges, is sentenced to 13 years in federal prison. A jury convicted François of all 17 charges in his indictment, including being a felon in possession of five firearms.
