PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- U.S. Sen. Jack Reed is set to discuss the role of the United States in world affairs when he meets in Providence with high school students from across Rhode Island.
Reed will discuss foreign policy issues during the 14th Annual Capitol Forum on America's Future scheduled for Monday morning at the Rhode Island State House.
The event is designed to engage high school students in a discussion about America's future in a changing international environment.
The initiative is part of Brown University's Watson Institute for International Studies Choice Program. It is intended to help students interact with government officials and gain insight into U.S. policy decisions.
