FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) -- A man who tied up a woman in her Rehoboth home then led police on a chase into Rhode Island where he threatened to kill himself has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The Sun Chronicle
reports that John Keough was sentenced in Fall River Superior Court after pleading guilty to armed assault in a dwelling and carrying a loaded firearm.

An accomplice, James MacDonald, who played a more limited role, was placed on probation for five years for charges including conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

A third man, Paul Matthews, was convicted last year and sentenced to 45 to 60 years in prison.

Police say Keough broke into a Rehoboth in September 2009 and led police on a chase into Pawtucket where he threatened to shoot himself.
