PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- It became obvious, the police say, that the notorious "Footlicker" wasn't getting the message in a class meant to help people adjust to society.
Raymond C. Dublin, a convicted rapist known in 2002 for licking women's feet in Woonsocket-area stores, made advances toward the activity coordinator at McAuley House in late September, the police say.
Then, on Oct. 2, Dublin performed an "indecent act" in her group meeting and left a note on her car, said Providence Officer Chris Poncia. The details of Dublin's proposition aren't appropriate for publication, and it ended "Please yes/no."
Poncia arrested Dublin on Wednesday after finding him sleeping in his SUV on Carter Street.
Dublin, 45, was charged with disorderly conduct and held without bail as a probation violator.
