LINCOLN, R.I. -- A Massachusetts man driving with an 11-month-old infant, two 16-year-olds, and the mother of the baby in the car was arrested by the state police Friday for driving under the influence.
At 12:00 a.m. troopers assigned to a DUI enforcement detail, were on patrol on Route
146 north in Lincoln when they observed a red Lexus swerving between lanes. Police
stopped the vehicle on the Route 146 north access road to Route 295.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as Jose L. Rosario, Jr. Age 21, of 5 Eureka Terrace, Worcester, Mass.
Police charged Rosario with driving under the Influence of liquor and or drugs, refusal to submit to a breathalyzer test and obstruction of a police officer in the execution of duties.
