NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A 30-year-old man has been ordered held without bail at the Adult Correctional Institutions following his arrest on charges of breaking into his parents' house on Woonasquatucket Avenue and stealing two guns.
Police said Dustin N. Brown was charged in connection with the theft of a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun and a 30-30 lever-action rifle belonging to his father, Dean Brown, from the basement of the house on April 1.
He was arraigned before District Court Judge Rafael Ovalles and ordered not to have contact with his parents. He is being held pending a competency hearing on April 11.
