EAST GREENWICH, R.I. -- A 2-year-old was rescued from a pool at the East Greenwich Club and revived at the scene, a witness said.
Paul Donnelly, manager of the club, said the child was either jumped or fell into a three-foot deep pool at about noon. A lifeguard and the child's mother jumped into the pool and rescued him. Two off-duty doctors who were at the club helped revive him, Donnelly said.
An East Greenwich rescue crew took the child to Hasbro Hospital for treatment, he said.
