TIVERTON, R.I. -- The police have obtained an arrest warrant charging a Fall River man with firing a shot into a bar Friday evening while driving past the establishment, wounding a patron in the shoulder.
The victim, Douglas R. St. Germain, 52, of Fall River, was listed in good condition Tuesday in Rhode Island Hospital.
Capt. Patrick Jones of the Tiverton police said Fall River officers arrested Scott E. Campbell, 43, of 56 Warren St., Fall River, after witnesses at the bar gave a description of the car, which they found parked outside his residence. Campbell gave officers permission to search the residence, Jones said, and they found a .380 pistol believed used in the shooting.
