PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- The Rhode Island Foundation is releasing a report on a two-day summit it convened in September on ways to fix the state's struggling economy.
The report on the "Make It Happen RI" summit is expected to be issued Monday.
Hundreds of people from the private sector attended the event, which took up topics including unemployment, marketing Rhode Island, helping start-ups and boosting existing businesses.
Foundation CEO Neil Steinberg said the forum was about "bringing action to new and old ideas" and "delivering results to revive Rhode Island."
The state's unemployment rate of 10.7 percent is the nation's second highest.
