SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. -- Two out-of-state men were arrested Saturday after they were overheard talking about a drug deal and were seen carrying large wads of money, the police said.
The authorities said a fellow rider on a Boston-bound train overheard Kevin D. Hynson, 22, of 804 Woodline Dr. in Middletown, Del., and David W. Hynson, 23, of 8 Oxford Place in Aston, Penn., were overhead discussing a drug transaction.
The two, believed to be brothers, got off in Kingston, allegedly completed their transaction and got back on on a southbound train, the police said.
South Kingstown and Amtrak police found the two were carrying 17 bags of marijuana in a duffel bag and backpack and more than $5,000 in cash.
They were charged with possession with intent to deliver/conspiracy.
