A former Warwick woman claims she had another run-in with her former neighbor after she moved to Massachusetts to get some distance from the woman and her cussing cockatoo.
Kathleen Melker said Thursday that she was at a waterfront location in Plymouth County when she saw the woman, Lynne E. Taylor, drive into the parking lot.
Taylor was close enough to recognize and she was traveling with an atlas, said Melker, who went to Wareham District Court and secured a court order requiring Taylor to stay at least 100 yards away from her.
Melker wrote about the alleged Columbus Day incident in an e-mail that she sent to media, but she declined to identify the town where the run-in took place. Taylor had previously been taken to Warwick Municipal Court over the bird's behavior.
