An assistant to Broward County Judge John Hurley said Ernest Wallace waived extradition during a hearing Monday. In a statement, the Bristol County District Attorney's office in Massachusetts said it had 10 days to pick up Wallace.

Wallace faces a charge of accessory after the fact of Odin Lloyd's slaying. Prosecutors say Wallace was with Hernandez and Lloyd the night Lloyd was fatally shot.

Wallace turned himself in at a Miramar, Fla., police station last week after authorities announced they were seeking him.

Prosecutors say Hernandez orchestrated Lloyd's execution-style shooting near Hernandez's North Attleborough home on June 17 after Lloyd spoke with the wrong people at a nightclub.
