BOSTON (AP) - A man arrested in Florida in connection with the murder case against former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has waived extradition and is cleared for transport to Massachusetts.

An assistant to Broward County Judge John Hurley said Ernest Wallace waived extradition during a hearing Monday. In a statement, the Bristol County District Attorney's office in Massachusetts said it had 10 days to pick up Wallace.
Wallace faces a charge of accessory after the fact of Odin Lloyd's slaying. Prosecutors say Wallace was with Hernandez and Lloyd the night Lloyd was fatally shot.
Wallace turned himself in at a Miramar, Fla., police station last week after authorities announced they were seeking him.
Prosecutors say Hernandez orchestrated Lloyd's execution-style shooting near Hernandez's North Attleborough home on June 17 after Lloyd spoke with the wrong people at a nightclub.
