PAWTUCKET, R.I. - Police are awaiting an autopsy on a 10-year-old girl whose death they believe is suspicious.
The girl, whose name has not been revealed, was rushed to Miriam Hospital Wednesday at about 5 p.m., and was pronounced dead, according to the Pawtucket police. A green van that was towed from in front of the hospital will be used as a part of the investigation.
Police said the death is suspicious because of the young age of the girl. The medical examiner will determine the cause.
Police said that no one is in custody, though several people have been questioned, including members of the girl's family.
