PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Rhode Island's governor is hosting the leader of Quebec.
Premier Pauline Marois is scheduled to visit Gov. Lincoln Chafee at the Statehouse on Thursday.
The leader of Canada's second largest province is also visiting the governors of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Connecticut.
Marois became Quebec's first female premiere last year.
New England's governors and the premiers of eastern Canada meet regularly to discuss issues relating to transportation, commerce and other shared interests.
