PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A local man is accused of shooting up his ex-girlfriend's house in the Charles neighborhood.

Gunfire woke up the residents at 279 Langdon Ave. on July 13, as bullets shot into a bedroom, living room, garage and a car parked outside 279 Langdon Ave.

But Detective Richard Esposito found a surveillance video in the area, which showed 35-year-old Kenji Ingram firing at the house, said Maj. David Lapatin.

Detective Michael Otrando and Sgt. Philip Hartnett tracked Ingram down Friday at Atwells Avenue and Valley Street, Lapatin said.

Ingram was out on probation after pleading no contest in May to drug possession and simple assault. He was ordered held without bail Monday as a probation violator, and arraigned on new charges including domestic felony assault and firing in a compact area.
