Cicilline hires '13 Brown grad to assist with new media, press

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - U.S. Rep. David Cicilline, D-R.I., has hired Alex MacFarlane, a 2103 Brown University graduate, as a press assistant in his Pawtucket office.

A native of Utah, MacFarlane wrote for the Brown Daily Herald.

Her duties as Cicilline's sole press staffer in his Pawtucket office will include "new media and planning press events,'' according to Cicilline spokesman Richard Luchette. She starts next month.
