PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A fire at 33 Hamilton St. destroyed a vacant three-family home Monday, keeping firefighters on the scene for than three hours.
The call came in at 3:56 p.m. and it was not until about 6:30 p.m. that firefighters had the blaze under control, said Battalion Chief Clarence Cunha.
The cause is under investigation, Cunha said.
