The man who broke a glass door at the Burger King on Post Road in North Kingstown, because the "zesty sauce" was left out of his order, plead no contest to vandalism and disorderly conduct charges. Christopher Lavigne must pay $293.50 for the door and $200 to the violent crimes indemnity fund.

The 15.5-acre Mallard Cove plat on Barrington's Hundred Acre Cove has been sold for about $2 million to Lyle S. Fain, a Warwick-based developer, who plans to build cluster housing.
