PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Statewide Grand Jury has reported out an indictment charging a Coventry man with one count of murder, the atorney general's office reported in a news release Monday.
Domenic Petrarca, 55, is accused of bludgeoning Joseph Costa, 61, to death on the smoking porch of the Summer Villa Assisted Living Facility in Coventry on or about Oct. 20, 2012.
Both men were residents at the facility. Petrarca has been in custody since his arrest on Oct. 21, 2012. An arraignment has not been scheduled, the news release said.
