PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Department of Health has closed City Park Beach and Conimicut Point Beach in Warwick, and Scarborough State Beach in Narragansett to swimming due to high bacteria counts.
Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend reopening when the areas are safe for swimming. Water quality analysis is conducted by the the Health Department laboratory or a state certified laboratory.
