Amtrak cancels Northeast Corridor services because of Sandy

Amtrak has canceled its Northeast Corridor Services north of New York starting at 7 p.m. Sunday and nearly all service on the eastern seaboard for Monday in advance of Hurricane Sandy.

That includes all Acela Express, Northeast Regional, Keystone and Shuttle services, as well as Empire Service, Adirondack, Vermonter, Ethan Allen and Pennsylvanian train services.
