WARWICK, R.I. -- Flights are still arriving and departing from T.F. Green Airport, although the airport's website shows some flight cancellations, likely because of the approaching Hurricane Sandy.
However, if you're taking a flight or picking up arriving family members or friends, airport spokeswoman Patti Goldstein said you should check with the individual airline for the most up-to-date information. Officials at Green anticipate cancellations Monday as the storm intensifies, Goldstein said Sunday shortly before 4:30 p.m.
"The airlines make that call, and they will cancel their flights when they determine," Goldstein said. "The airport always remains open, but the airlines will make that decision."
