WARWICK,R.I. -- The suspect in the murders of a Johnston woman and her adult daughter and kidnapping the woman's two-year-old son waived his right to a bail hearing and agreed to be held without bail at a court hearing this morning, Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin's office said.
Daniel L. Rodriguez, 28, is facing two counts of murder, one count each of kidnapping and burglary and four firearms violations in connection with the Aug. 11 slaying of his ex-girlfriend Evelyn Burgos, 40, and her daughter Vanessa Perez, 25. Rodriguez is also charged with taking Burgos' 2-year-old son from the scene.
