WARWICK, R.I. -- Warwick police are investigating a robbery at Citizens Bank, located inside of Stop & Shop at Cowesett Corners on Quaker Lane, that happened just before noon Thursday.
A man, who witnesses said looked to be between 20- to 30-years-old, showed a note to a teller, according to Chief Col. Stephen M. McCartney. It is not known how much money the man made off with, he said.
Police are asking for help in identifying and finding the man. He is described as tall, of medium build, with close buzzed hair and an unshaven face. He was wearing a red Red Sox baseball cap with a white letter "B," a zip-up grey hooded sweatshirt, And1 basketball shorts, and Adidas sunglasses hanging down from his ears.
