It's been a busy Monday morning for accidents on Rhode Island highways.
Traffic alerts from the state Department of Transportation have been coming in steadily over the past few hours.
"We're attributing that to the poor visibility and the slippery roadways," said said State Police Cpl. Alfred Ruggiero.
Several accidents have been reported on Route 95. Accidents have also been reported on Route 4 and Route 295.
There have been no major accidents, just a number of accidents including rear-end collisions.
The best advice in the conditions is to slow down and keep a safe distance between your car and the one ahead.
