About 40 children from the Narragansett Recreation Department will spend part of Tuesday helping members of the New England Patriots decorate holiday cards for American troops deployed overseas.
Four Pats players -- defensive end Jermaine Cunningham, kicker Steven Gostkowski, punter Zoltan Mesko and long snapper Danny Aiken -- are scheduled to take part. Amanda Sullivan, who is the organizer of Operation Christmas Cards, and former Pats running back Patrick Pass will also help.
Fans can get involved by heading to the Patriots Pro Shop, at Gillette Stadium, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The players are scheduled to arrive at 11:30 to help decorate cards and take part in a special presentation to Sullivan, who will be honored as the team's Difference Maker of the Week.
