An infamous mob enforcer from Providence who's serving a life sentence has penned a memoir called "What Price Providence."
Gerard T. Ouimette traces his life of crime from childhood to his conviction on an extortion charge in 1995 that landed him in federal prison for the rest of his life without the possibility of parole.
The cover has Ouimette, who calls himself "The Frenchman," pictured with his friends Raymond L.S. Patriarca and John Gotti, the late boss of New York's Gambino crime family.
Ouimette is serving time at a federal prison in Butner, N.C. It's the same prison where Luigi "Baby Shacks" Manocchio, the last New England crime boss from Rhode Island, was recently transferred.
Ouimette's book is available on amazon.com and Amazon Kindle.
