UMASS Dartmouth gives alumni award to Naval Warfare technical director

DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- Donald McCormack, technical director of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, received this year's University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Alumni Association Achievement Award.

McCormack, who holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from UMASS Dartmouth, accepted the award at a Nov. 8 ceremony.

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, a Navy research and development center headquartered in Newport, is part of the Naval Sea System Command.
