Serenaded by Bruce Springsteen singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," and Elvis Presley singing "Blue Christmas," runners and walkers in the annual Jingle Bell Run/Walk took off on their journey at about 11 a.m. Sunday. Many were wearing festive clothes. Some dressed as elves, reindeer and at least one runner wore a full Santa suit. Jacob Kilcoyne, 17, of Hope Valley, won the race in 15:29. He beat Chris Magill, 39, of Cumberland, by a fraction of a second.
