WEST WARWICK, R.I. -- Fire marshals are investigating a fire that caused heavy damage to a vacant two-story home early Saturday morning, authorities said.
Firefighters went to 50 Church St. at 2:02 a.m. and extinguished the blaze without sustaining any injuries, said Battalion Chief James Theroux.
The West Warwick Fire Marshal and the Rhode Island State Marshal are investigating the cause of the fire, Theroux added.
