PAWTUCKET, R.I. -- The Pawtucket police are searching for a man who carjacked a local woman outside the downtown Post Office Monday afternoon.
A 52-year-old woman had just gotten into her Saturn sedan on Montgomery Street when a scruffy man suddenly yanked the driver's side door open, said Capt. John Seebeck.
The man grabbed the woman and forced her out of the car, then drove away toward Broad Street, Seebeck said.
The woman was unhurt. The man didn't show any weapon, Seebeck said.
The stolen car is a silver 1996 Saturn, with Rhode Island license plate FG-459. The description of the man was vague.
