PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Crews used a mobile crane to repair wind damage to the State House flag pole.
Gov. Chafee's office said Monday that high winds last Thursday tore the rope holding the flag, causing it to come loose. The flag was recovered from the State House roof.
The crane had to be used because the flag pole is difficult to reach.
The repairs were completed by 3 p.m. Monday.
