PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A man walking home on Riverdale Street on Saturday night paused when a passenger in an old Nissan Maxima asked for directions to Sam's Club.
But Akyme Robinson, 29, told the police that before he could respond, the passenger pulled out a gun and demanded everything he had. The gunman got out of the car, and Robinson gave up his money and headphones, according to a police report.
The gunman, described as light-skinned, 20-something and skinny in a black Champion hooded sweatshirt, rode off with two other men in the black Nissan with temporary plates.
