LINCOLN, R.I. -- The police have issued a silver alert asking the public to help locate two elderly women last seen Tuesday afternoon.
The authorities said 75-year-old Marie Bonin picked up her friend Ana Marchwicki, 89, from The Holiday retirement home in Lincoln around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. They planned to spend the afternoon together, the authorities said.
Bonin, described as about 5 feet 3 with gray hair and hazel eyes, was driving a 2006 silver Dodge Caravan with Rhode Island license plates 781902.
Marchwicki, described as 5 foot 2 with white hair and brown eyes, was wearing a green sweatsuit when she left the nursing home.
