PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The 195 Redevelopment Commission, charged with developing the Providence land freed up by the relocation of Route 195, has hired three firms for website design, graphics and public relations.
The firms were selected following a request for proposals issued in July.
The Commission hired Providence-based Malcolm Grear Designers for logo and website design, Providence-based DK Communications for public relations, and Boston-based planning and architectural firm Goody Clancy to develop a visually appealing way of presenting the commission's criteria for land development.
The commission is still in the process of finalizing the contracts and compensation for the three companies.
