GLOCESTER, R.I. -- A local man is being held without bail on charges he was growing and selling marijuana from his Cherry Valley Road home, the police said.
David Frost, 25, of 32 Cherry Valley Rd. faces felony charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, and possession of a weapon when committing a crime of violence.
Frost was ordered held at the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston at an initial felony hearing Wednesday pending a bail hearing on Aug. 27 in District Court, Warwick.
The authorities obtained a search warrant for Frost's house following a month-long investigation and seized about 4½ pounds of processed, usable marijuana; a small amount of cocaine; and a gun, the police said.
