HOPKINTON, R.I. -- A 39-year-old man faces felony marijuana cultivation charges after police found 190 marijuana plants at homes in Hopkinton and Charlestown, authorities said Saturday.
Gene Zeldin was arrested after an investigation led Hopkinton police to 24 Colonial Village Rd. in Hopkinton, where 60 marijuana plants were lined up on the floor underneath specialized grow lights, according to police Sgt. Ryan Percival.
After that discovery on Thursday, police found 130 additional plants at 32 Shore Drive, in Charlestown, Percival said.
