With thousands of early and provisional ballots still to be counted, Democrat Ron Barber has pulled ahead of Warwick native and former Air Force Col. Martha McSally, a Republican, by more than 300 votes out of more than 250,000 cast in the 2nd Congressional District race.
Barber is seeking a full term after winning a June election to replace his former boss, Gabrielle Giffords, in representing the area.
Counting is to continue Monday. Raw results -- with no indication of how many ballots remain -- can be seen on the Arizona Secretary of State's election results site.
The race still remains too close to call.
