PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The art and economic impact of making movies in the state will be the topic Thursday during the Rhode Island Film Forum, a presentation of the 2012 Rhode Island International Film Festival, which continues through Sunday.
The Film Forum, including Providence Journal videos and discussion by Journal staffers, runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Providence Biltmore hotel. Actress and director Amy Redford, whose father founded the Sundance Film Festival, will speak. Redford will screen her latest film, "Delivery," Thursday at 9 p.m. at The Vets. The Journal's "Coming Home" will be shown Saturday at 10 a.m. at RISD's Metcalf Auditorium.
