PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A man known on the street as "Bang Bang" has been indicted in the fatal shooting of a West Warwick man in the Manton Heights housing projects in May.
Michael Tully, 29, of 60 Fairfield St., is accused of shooting 26-year-old Ralph James Joseph in the head, in what the Providence police say was a drug deal gone bad. Joseph died June 1.
On Friday, Providence County grand jury indicted Tully on charges of murder, using a firearm while committing a violent crime, assault with intent to rob, carrying a firearm without a license, and conspiracy.
Tully has been held without bail since his arrest in June. He is expected to be arraigned in Superior Court on Dec. 14.
